Hazelwood Student Village comprises six standalone student accommodation blocks, labelled A to F. The village has its own privately operated gated entrance, with a dedicated security office located immediately inside the main entrance. Upon entering the complex, you will arrive at the central green area, where the main office, vending machines, and laundry facilities are located. A network of pedestrian pathways provides direct access to each of the six accommodation blocks.

Hazelwood Student Village provides ten modern washing and drying machines, operated by our laundry partner, Circuit Go. Residents can pay for laundry using a bank card or through the Circuit Go app. The app also allows parents or guardians to conveniently top up their child\'s laundry account.

For added convenience, vending machines stocked with a selection of snacks and drinks are available on site, helping residents stay refreshed throughout the day.

Hazelwood Student Village offers secure on-site bicycle storage for residents. The bike storage area is monitored by CCTV, providing a safe and convenient place to store bicycles throughout the academic year.

Keeping your room well ventilated is the best way to prevent mould and condensation. Open your window for a short period each day to allow fresh air to circulate, particularly after showering, drying clothes, or cooking. Avoid drying clothes in your bedroom where possible. If you do need to dry laundry indoors, use the designated laundry facilities whenever possible.

Wipe away any condensation that forms on windows or other surfaces and keep furniture slightly away from external walls to allow air to circulate. Regularly clean your room and report any signs of persistent damp, leaks, or mould to the accommodation office as soon as possible so they can be investigated and addressed promptly.

Hazelwood Student Village provides shared waste and recycling facilities for all residents. Please dispose of your rubbish responsibly by using the correct bins for general waste, mixed recycling, and food waste where provided. Flatten cardboard boxes before placing them in the recycling bins and ensure recyclable items are clean and free from food residue.

To help keep the village clean and pleasant for everyone, do not leave rubbish bags, boxes, or other waste in corridors, outside apartment doors, or beside the bin stores. If a bin is full, please use another available bin rather than leaving waste on the ground. Following these simple guidelines helps maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally friendly community for all residents.

Hazelwood Student Village is conveniently located in Dublin 9, offering easy access to a range of colleges, universities, shops, cafés, and local amenities. Excellent public transport links, including Dublin Bus services, make travelling to and from the city centre and surrounding areas straightforward. The village is also within walking and cycling distance of a variety of supermarkets, parks, and everyday essentials, providing residents with everything they need close to home.

Hazelwood Student Village is ideally located in Northwood, Santry, Dublin 9, offering residents easy access to a wide range of shops, restaurants, leisure facilities, and public transport.

Just a short walk from the village is Omni Shopping Centre, which features a large Tesco supermarket, pharmacies, cafés, restaurants, fashion retailers, and a variety of other essential stores. Residents will also find coffee shops, takeaway restaurants, fast food outlets, and banking facilities nearby, making day-to-day living both convenient and affordable.

For recreation, Santry Demesne Park is located close by and offers walking and running trails, sports facilities, and green open spaces. Dublin City University (DCU) is within walking and cycling distance, while Dublin City Centre and Dublin Airport are both easily accessible via the frequent Dublin Bus services operating along the nearby Swords Road.

Several Dublin Bus services operate along the nearby Swords Road, with bus stops just a short walk from the village. Frequent services run throughout the day, making it easy to travel for lectures, work, shopping or social activities.

Residents can also walk or cycle to Dublin City University (DCU), while Dublin Airport is approximately a 10-minute drive away. For those travelling by car, the M1 and M50 motorways are easily accessible, providing convenient links to the rest of Dublin and beyond.
